¡Hola! I am Alysha Cameron, but I like to be called Señora in class which more or less means Mrs. or Ma’am in Spanish.

I am born and raised in Arizona. I went to Gilbert High School and then The University of Arizona for my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. My family consists of my husband, Ryan, my 4-yr old son, Weston, my 1-yr old son, Elliot and our two dogs, Odin and Loca.

I love extreme sports, traveling and spending time in the water and outdoors. My passion for traveling lead me to find my passion for Spanish and teaching. Between my degrees at the University of Arizona I spent a year in Costa Rica where I attended a language school and lived with a family in the jungle. Within 6 months, I became fluent and knew that my future needed to involve the beautiful language of Spanish.

I hope that my experiences throughout Spanish-speaking countries can make learning Spanish as fun and exciting as it has been for me. Get ready to learn and have a great time in my class! ¡sí se puede!
