Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Mrs. Clifford.  I grew up in Oklahoma, graduated from BYU-Idaho with my Bachelors in Elementary Education, and came to Arizona as a new teacher. This is my 5th year teaching, and my 3rd year teaching second grade. I love to read, and can't wait to share my favorite books with you!

In my classroom, we strive to build a community of respect and kindness. This is done through treating others the way we would like to be treated. We also learn to be mindful, or aware, of the classroom, our learning, and classmates. Being mindful helps us to learn better by helping students to focus on learning. We also learn how to communicate our feelings with others in a respectful way.
