Welcome to P.E.!

My name is Frankie Parker and I am thrilled to be teaching Physical Edcucation at Peralta Trail Elementary for the upcoming school year. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certification, a P.E. endorsement, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I have been teaching in the Apache Junction School District for 11 years at Gold Canyon Elementary,  Superstition Mountain Elementary and now Peralta Trail Elementary.

I am originally from Georgia and have lived in Alabama, California, Japan, Virginia, and Washington D.C. before moving to Arizona 18 years ago.  My husband retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and got his first civilian job in Arizona. We have two beautiful daughters. Our oldest, Kendra, graduated from Arizona State University and majored in Aerospace engineering. Our youngest, Brittany, graduated from Northern Arizona University and majored in Music performance. I love being active and you may find me jogging, hiking, or riding my bicycle. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to create a love of being active with your children.
