Mr. Bill Schroeder


Hello, My name is Bill ( Coach) Schroeder and I presently teach Physical Education at Peralta Trail Elementary. I have been with the Apache Junction School District since February 10th, 1985, which is about 36+ years. I started teaching at Apache Junction Junior High School. My father was in the United States Navy until 1969 then my family moved to Phoenix.
   I graduated from Cortez High School in 1976, I then attended Glendale Community College, Northern Arizona University and the University of Phoenix over the years I have earned Associates of Arts (1978), Bachelors in Education (1982) and Masters degree in Administration (1994). I have the principal's endorsement to add to my portfolio. Over the years I have taught at Gold Canyon Elementary, Superstition Elementary, Desert Vista Elementary School, Thunder Mountain Elementary School, Peralta Trail and Four Peaks Elementary School. During my career I have coached Boys/Girls Football, Basketball, Baseball and  Softball at Apache Junction High School and Thunder Mountain Middle School. I have also served as the Athletic Director for afterschool sports at Thunder Mountain Middle School.
   I am a recent widower and live with my two dogs Shadow and Jack (my boys) in Mesa. My hobbies include golf, hiking and gold prospecting. I enjoy watching sports on TV, My favorite sports are football, baseball, golf and basketball. I look forward to working with students, families and staff at Peralta Trail this school year.
