Hello! 

I'm Erica Nafziger, and 2021-22 will be my 4th year teaching at AJHS! My degree is in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medical Studies from Grand Canyon University with a Post-Baccalaurate in Teacher Education. I will also soon be pursuing master in Mathematics.  Prior to teaching, I worked in the medical field for 8 years and in aerospace for 5 years. 

As an educator at AJHS, my science background has allowed me apply my knowledge to a variety of subjects. I have taught Physical Science and Biology, & Algebra I and Honors Algebra, as well as piloting the German Language program last year.

This year, I am returning to the Math department for Algebra 1/Honors, and also Algebra 2!

I look forward to another exciting year at AJHS!
