- What is meant by “online education?”
When you participate in an online delivery program it means that you are given the opportunity to complete credits toward high school graduation in a setting different from a typical class. AJDLP provides options in an independent study format with teacher guidance, one-on-one instruction, and distance learning opportunities.
Students in the Online and Distance Learning class complete online coursework. Students work on one subject at a time. Credit is earned through completion of required tasks and tests for the course. Students must make continuous academic progress determined by their individualized plan to remain in the program, at least ½ credit per semester. Students work at a pace established by the counselor. Students may have to complete in a class in six weeks to get back on track to graduate on time with their cohort.
